Looking to grow your career as a Spa Therapist? The Middlewick is a beautiful, family-owned resort at the foot of Glastonbury Tor, and we're on the lookout for a talented Spa Therapist to join our friendly team, with real opportunities to develop your skills and build your career with us.
Founded and run by owner Jill Barker, we're a growing, independent business (not a big corporate chain), which means you'll be valued as an individual and have genuine input into how our spa develops. Alongside our 32 bedrooms, busy café and farm shop, our popular Day Spa is where you'll spend your days delivering brilliant treatments in a beautiful setting.
About the Role
You'll deliver a range of face and body treatments- including massage, facials, waxing, manicures and pedicures - with skill and warmth, making sure every guest leaves feeling brilliant. We're especially keen to hear from therapists who want to build on their beauty skills, with genuine training and development on offer as we grow.
What We're Looking For
- NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Beauty Therapy or Massage
- Confident delivering massage, facials, waxing, manicures and pedicures
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- A friendly, positive attitude and eagerness to learn and develop
- Professional and reliable, able to work independently and as part of a team
- Flexibility to work weekends and occasional evenings
Desirable
- Previous spa or salon experience
- Experience with natural or botanical skincare brands
- Interest in expanding into additional treatments such as aromatherapy or reflexology (training available)
