1. Role Overview
The Stores Operative assists with all warehouse duties as delegated by the Stores Manager. They are responsible the receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods in the warehouse, ensuring inventory accuracy, and maintaining safe and organized stock areas. We are looking for a dynamic individual to join our Stores team who can also support other departments in order to support continuous improvement.
2. Duties & Key Responsibilities
- Managing inventory to ensure all stock data is correct.
- Picking and packing items against sales orders and producing delivery paperwork in accordance with the customer's needs.
- Working with the Quality team to obtain the correct certification paperwork per order. This may include dealing with the Chamber of Commerce.
- Communicating with customers and/or their freight forwarders to arrange collection.
- Receiving deliveries, carrying out initial checks prior to booking to stock.
3. Experience / Qualifications
- Knowledge of ERP systems would be beneficial, particularly NetSuite.
- Previous experience in a stores or manufacturing setting would be ideal.
- Forklift license and/or experience of driving forklifts (up to 5 tonne) is preferred

8. Working Hours
The working times are based on a 39-hour week, Monday to Thursday, 8am to 5pm, Friday 8am to 1pm, with overtime available. Hours are subject to change in accordance with the needs of the business.
