Gym Manager — Sloan's Gym, Belfast
Salary: £26,000 per annum + KPI-based bonus structure

About the role
Sloan's Gym is looking for an experienced Gym Manager to take ownership of the day-to-day running of our Belfast facility. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who can drive membership growth, deliver an outstanding member experience, and lead a team to hit clear performance targets. You'll be the face of the gym and the person who keeps everything running smoothly, from the front desk to the gym floor.
Key responsibilities
Manage the daily operations of the gym, ensuring high standards of cleanliness, safety, and equipment maintenance
Lead, motivate, and schedule the team, including instructors, front-of-house, and support staff.
Drive membership sales, retention, and referrals to meet agreed growth targets
Oversee the class timetable and ensure a strong, well-attended programme of sessions.
Deliver excellent customer service and resolve member queries or complaints promptly.
Monitor KPIs and report on performance against targets.
Ensure full compliance with health & safety regulations and industry standards.
Manage stock, supplier relationships, and day-to-day budgets.
What we're looking for
Previous experience in a gym or fitness management role is essential.
A proven track record of hitting sales, membership, or performance targets
Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
A genuine passion for fitness and helping members reach their goals
Confident with basic admin, scheduling, and reporting.
