Sunny Art Centre is an art school in the heart of Covent Garden, offering painting and drawing courses for all levels from complete beginners to experienced artists.
Our studio is a warm, creative space led by professional artist-tutors, with courses running flexibly so students can join throughout the year. We're growing our online presence and want to capture the energy of our classes and the work our students create.
The Role
We're looking for a part-time videographer to document the life of our studio and grow our presence online.
Two days a week, on-site at our Covent Garden studio, filming and editing video content for our social media, website and course pages. Both the days and the hours can vary week to week — typically an 8-hour day starting between 10am and 12pm (so 10am–6pm or 12pm–8pm), agreed with us in advance. This suits someone who values flexibility. All equipment and editing software is provided.
What you'll be filming
- Art classes in progress, capturing the atmosphere of the studio
- Students' work and finished pieces
Interviews with students and art tutors
- Art-related subjects and educational content
- Promotional clips and class highlights
You'll also
- Edit into punchy short-form videos for Instagram, TikTok and YouTube
- Record clean interview audio and set up light interview shots
- Turn content around consistently to a posting schedule
- Bring a good eye for framing, pacing and storytelling
We're looking for someone who
- Can shoot and edit independently (1–3 years' experience, or a strong portfolio/showreel)
- Is confident with interviews — framing, sound, and putting people at ease
- Is comfortable with editing software (Premiere Pro, CapCut, DaVinci or similar)
- Is reliable, self-directed, and flexible about scheduling
- Is happy to work occasional evenings (up to 8pm)
- Has an interest in art, creativity or education — a real plus
