You will work for Animals in Distress mainly at the Irlam sanctuary as a Animal carer and Emergency driver unless stated and then will have to go to the other of the Charities properties, this is a rarity. You will be Cleaning out the animals most of the day at the Irlam sanctuary with the other staff/traveling to the vets and or picking animals up from the greater Manchester area. You will be on call on certain nights which will rotate with the other drivers. The on call is paid at a different rate. We are looking for a person that can work with the other staff and on their own. The staff are expected to cover each others holidays. You must have a least 9 years driving experience due insurance to drive the van. Insurance is for over 25 years and over. The van has a tracker on.
