Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and energetic Operations Manager to join our national audiology business - Pride Hearing. Head office located in Pride Park, Derby with the role being based full time here. Pride Hearing is a fast paced business, growing on a daily basis with 3 clinic locations and 7 home dispensing locations - this role works hand in hand with the managing director of the company, ensuring smooth daily operations and effective management is in place to drive standards and ensure efficiency.
Salary of £28,000 per year plus bonus based on order volume achieved by the business taking the position to OTE £32,000-£34,000.
The role has significant amounts of handling direct contact with patients, arranging service calls, fittings, customer returns, general enquiries etc.

Responsibilities
- Support the audiology team, including audiologists, support staff, and administrative personnel, ensuring seamless daily operations.
- Stock Management
- Logistics
- Direct line management of administration / reception staff as well as stock function.
- Ensure operational policies and procedures are delivered to enhance patient experience and clinic efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, safety standards, and quality assurance protocols specific to audiology services.
- Coordinate with vendors, suppliers, and external partners to ensure timely product ordering.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate operational success and identify areas for continuous improvement.
The Person we are looking for
- Proven supervising experience in healthcare or clinical settings with a focus on management roles.
- Strong management skills with the ability to lead diverse teams effectively.
- Background or familiarity with healthcare environments is a plus but not required; candidates should demonstrate adaptability.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with staff, patients, vendors, and external stakeholders.
