Experienced Head / Senior RVN wanted for brand new independent practice in Godalming, Surrey
Pawprints Vets is opening soon, with local veterinary surgeon and owner, Steffi Galt. We're looking for an experienced Veterinary Nurse to help us build a practice that prioritises exceptional patient care, with a supportive team culture. This is a unique opportunity for someone who is excited at the prospect of shaping a brand new practice from the ground up, and hand selecting their team as our patient list grows over time.
What we can offer:
- Competitive salary: £32,500–£40,000 per annum depending on experience
- Full-time role - 5 days per week initially (4-day week option as team grows)
- No out-of-hours work; 1 in 3 Saturday mornings

About you:
We’re looking for an experienced RVN who is passionate about delivering excellent patient care, great with people, and excited by the opportunity to lead their own team. You’ll play a key role in building a brand new service from the ground up, and establishing our new clinic, team and ways of working from day one. Your role will encompass all aspects of veterinary nursing, as well as ultimate oversight of our clinical operation, and eventually leadership of a small but highly skilled team. We’re therefore looking for someone who is highly organised, a natural problem solver, and a great communicator, with a focus on continuous improvement. You’ll of course be nurturing and supportive of others, helping the wider team to succeed. In return, we’ll support your career development, and welcome you as a valued member of our leadership team.
