An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our innovative Community Stoma Service as a Nurse Specialist. Working as part of a supportive multidisciplinary team, you will help shape a growing service that is improving outcomes for people living with a stoma across Lothian.
Working across primary care settings throughout Lothian, and in close partnership with hospital-based colleagues, you will provide expert clinical support, undertake holistic patient reviews, utilise prescribing and clinical data to help deliver person centred care. You will play a key role in supporting patients following stoma surgery, enhancing quality of life and ensuring individuals receive the most appropriate products and support to meet their needs
As part of a dynamic multidisciplinary team, you will contribute to service development, education, quality improvement and innovation within a growing speciality. We are committed to supporting your development through comprehensive induction, clinical supervision, mentorship and ongoing professional education.
