Key Responsibilities
The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment by patrolling designated areas, monitoring activities, and responding to incidents. This role requires a proactive approach to loss prevention
- Conduct mobile patrols of client sites as per schedules
- Respond to alarms and emergencies in a timely manner
- Complete incident and daily activity reports accurately
- Deter unauthorised activity through visible presence
- Carry out building inspections and perimeter checks
- Liaise with control room and emergency services when needed
- Conduct regular patrols of assigned areas to deter and detect suspicious activities.
- Report any irregularities or violations of security protocols to the relevant authorities.
- Collaborate with law enforcement agencies when required.
- Maintain accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and observations.
- Assist in the implementation of loss prevention strategies to minimise theft and damage.
- Provide excellent customer service while interacting with the public and staff.
Requirements
- Valid SIA Licence (Security Industry Authority)
- Full UK driving licence with a clean driving record
- Previous experience in mobile or manned guarding roles preferred
- Excellent communication and report-writing skills
- Able to work nights, weekends, and public holidays as required
- Must be punctual, reliable, and profession
- Strong observational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle emergency situations effectively.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
