We are seeking an energetic and dedicated Girls Coach to join our dynamic team, inspiring young athletes through sports and teaching. As a JPL Warriors Girls Coach, you will play a vital role in fostering teamwork, confidence, and skill development among girls in our community. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to lead, motivate, and make a positive impact on the lives of aspiring athletes while promoting healthy lifestyles and sportsmanship.
Responsibilities
- Lead engaging coaching sessions focused on skill development, teamwork, and sportsmanship for girls participating in our programs
- Develop and implement training plans tailored to various skill levels and age groups
- Foster a positive, inclusive environment that encourages confidence and personal growth among all players
- Teach fundamental sports techniques, rules, and strategies clearly and effectively
- Monitor player progress, provide constructive feedback, and motivate athletes to achieve their best
- Ensure safety protocols are followed during all activities and maintain a safe playing environment
- Collaborate with program coordinators to organize practices, games, and community events that promote team spirit
Experience
- Prior experience in sports coaching or teaching youth sports programs is preferred
- Demonstrated ability to teach sports skills clearly and motivate young athletes
- Strong communication skills to effectively engage with players, parents, and team staff
- Passion for working with girls and fostering their development through sports
- Ability to lead by example with enthusiasm, professionalism, and a positive attitude
