Job Overview:We are seeking a Construction Laborer to join our team in the roofing industry. The ideal candidate will assist in various manual labour tasks on construction sites, contributing to the successful completion of projects.
Responsibilities:- Assist with the preparation of construction sites before commencing work- Perform manual tasks - Operate and maintain hand and power tools safely- Assist skilled tradespeople as needed- Follow health and safety guidelines on site- Clean and prepare construction areas for work activities- Load and unload materials from vehiclesRequirements:- Previous experience in a similar role is advantageous but not essential- Ability to work well in a team environment- Physically fit and capable of lifting heavy objects- Understanding of health and safety regulations in a construction setting- Willingness to learn new skills on the job- Reliable and punctual with good time management skills
