A vacancy has arisen for an experienced Butcher within a small family run business.
Candidate must be able to prepare, weigh, pack fresh produce for shop and deliveries.
Must have good people skill.
Polite and confident attitude towards serving customers, answering telephone, taking orders over phone.
Strong work ethic, punctual and reliable.
Clean and tidy in own appearance.
Basic English and Maths required for serving, writing out tickets/invoices.
Able to work on own initiative whilst ensuring safety of yourself, and others around you while performing duties.
Honesty, as will be handling cash.
Must be physically fit to be able to lift meat, trays and load van up to max 30kg.
Cleanliness of shop during day whilst working.
Used to working with noise from machinery.
Maintain professional image when in shop or delivering.
Local knowledge of area for multi drop deliveries would be helpful.
Valid UK/EU/EEA Driving License Full/Automatic last 12 months, be in current address, no more than 3 points, no bans.
Cleaning and clearing at end of day.
Wages above minimum and to be discussed at interview along with working hours, overtime and holiday.
