The role:
Servicing, repairs, fault finding and diagnostics across all makes and models, including clutches, timing belts and wet belts.
Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles to identify issues accurately.
Perform repairs and maintenance on engines, transmissions, brakes, suspension systems, and other vehicle components.
Interpret technical diagrams and schematics to troubleshoot complex mechanical problems.
Maintain detailed service records and documentation for all repairs performed.
Diagnose vehicles using specialized equipment and software to pinpoint malfunctions swiftly.
Support vehicle assembly or disassembly processes as needed for repairs or upgrades.
You’ll work to a high standard in a relaxed but professional environment, tackling a varied range of mechanical and diagnostic faults.
You’ll need:
- NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent)
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in the automotive trade
- Currently working within the automotive industry
- Diagnostic and fault-finding skills
- Focused, hardworking and professional attitude
- Passion for automotive diagnostics and repairs
- Full UK driving licence
- Your own tools
