We are currently looking to recruit 5 Registered Nurses to work within the Peripatetic Team. You will be expected to work across all the inpatient wards within Derbyshire with both working age and older adults. You will work across our sites which include Walton, Kingsway campus, Radbourne Unit and the Derwent Unit.
Peripatetic is defined in the meaning of healthcare as “resources or services which are flexible and can be deployed where and when needed, rather than one fixed place.
You will play a vital role in delivering high-quality, person-centred care to both adults of working age and older age experiencing mental health challenges.

Please be mindful that the wards provides a 24 hour, year round inpatient service so you would need to be able to work shift patterns including, morning, afternoon, nights, weekends, Christmas, New Year and Bank Holidays. You will also be expected to travel between sites as you will be allocated to wards with the highest clinical demands. You will have an opportunity to develop a broad range of skills across different services and sites.

You will:
Work as part of a team responsible for the delivery of Patient/Client Centred Care.

Work closely with colleagues to ensure that clinical services are delivered to the highest standard and in accordance with the most recent evidence based guidance.
As a registered nurse, be personally accountable for your professional practice that will be delivered in accordance with the legal and professional responsibilities outlined by the NMC.
Ensure that services are provided in a safe and supportive environment and at all times adopt a professional approach to your work promoting a positive image to services users/carers and the general public.
