Willtrans is seeking a reliable and flexible driver to carry out nationwide deliveries of various goods using vehicles up to 3.5 tonnes. No special licence is required.
This is a part-time role ranging from 1-3 days per week.
The role involves:
- Driving across the country delivering a wide range of goods
- Operating vehicles of different sizes (up to 3.5T)
- Flexibility with working days and early morning starts to meet customer requirements
Responsibilities:
- Safely and efficiently operate a delivery vehicle to transport goods from different sites
- Load and unload products from the vehicle using appropriate equipment
- Plan and follow the most efficient routes for timely deliveries
- Communicate with office staff to ensure accurate and complete orders
- Provide excellent customer service by delivering products in a professional and courteous manner
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance
Requirements:
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Proven experience as a driver or in a similar role
- Ability to communicate effectively with team members and customers
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skill
