About Us
Olive Tree Turkish Restaurant is a busy, family-run restaurant in High Wycombe, serving authentic Turkish cuisine in a welcoming and vibrant atmosphere. We are looking for an enthusiastic, reliable and hardworking Food Runner to join our team and help deliver an outstanding dining experience for our guests.
Whether you have previous hospitality experience or are looking to start your career in the industry, we’d love to hear from you. Full training will be provided for the right candidate.
The Role
As a Food Runner, you will play an important role in ensuring food is delivered quickly, accurately and to the highest standard. Working closely with our kitchen and front-of-house teams, you will help maintain smooth service while providing excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Deliver food promptly and accurately from the kitchen to guests’ tables.
- Ensure all dishes are presented correctly before leaving the kitchen.
- Communicate effectively with chefs and front-of-house staff to ensure efficient service.
- Support waiting staff during busy service periods.
- Keep service stations clean, organised and well stocked.
- Assist with clearing and resetting tables when required.
- Follow all food hygiene, health and safety procedures.
- Provide friendly and professional service to all guests.
- Assist with opening and closing duties when required.

Experience
- Previous hospitality or customer service experience is preferred but not essential.
- Full training will be provided.

- Ability to reliably commute to High Wycombe.
- Right to work in the UK.
- Availability to work evenings, weekends and bank holidays as required by the needs of the business.
Pay: £8.00-£12.71 per hour
