Driver/Technician (Community Services)
Hours: 36 Hours Per Week, Mon – Fri
Contract: 6 Week Temporary Contract (with potential extension)

Rate: PAYE £13.45 per hour
We're recruiting a Driver/Technician to support the Community Services team with day-to-day transport and delivery duties. This is a vital frontline role, ideal for someone reliable, organised, and confident working with residents in a public-facing service.
About the Role
As a Driver/Technician, you'll provide essential transport and delivery support to ensure the smooth running of our services, including Transport from Home and Meals at Home.
What you'll be doing:
- Transporting residents safely using accessible vehicles (up to D1 licence)
- Delivering meals and supporting community service operations
- Managing schedules and ensuring timely service delivery
- Maintaining accurate records and following service procedures
- Working independently while contributing effectively to the wider team
- Providing a person-centred approach to residents and service members
What We're Looking For
We're looking for someone proactive, organised, and comfortable managing multiple tasks.
You'll ideally have:
- Previous experience in community support or driving roles
- A valid D1 licence and driving experience with accessible vehicles
- Strong organisational and time-management skills
- Excellent people skills and a professional approach
- Ability to work independently and as part of a committed team
