We are looking for motivated and enthusiastic tradespeople to joint our growing engineering family.
Our Multi Skilled Technicians provide a mobile delivery of facilities support services across our client sites. The role will be responsible for carrying out a range of general / fabric maintenance and business support tasks. They will report to one of the Regional Operations Supervisors and assist mobile engineers as required in the delivery of reactive, planned and ad hoc maintenance tasks.
Suitable training and up-skilling - May be given, as and when required, to achieve competency and the ability to perform the following (as detailed in responsibilities).
Working hours - Although the core working hours are 07:00 to 16:00, there may be a certain degree of flexibility depending on individual circumstances.
Main Duties

Conduct planned preventative maintenance (PPM) activities, including fire alarm testing, emergency lighting checks, water hygiene monitoring, utilities meter readings, and compliance inspections.

Respond to reactive maintenance requests, carrying out minor repairs to building fabric, plumbing, decorating, lighting, and general facilities equipment.

Provide facilities support services, including porterage, office moves, furniture management, cleaning, janitorial duties, and contractor coordination as required.

Ensure full compliance with Health & Safety legislation by completing RAMS, permits to work, maintenance records, and proactively reporting hazards and building defects.

Deliver excellent customer service by maintaining communication with occupants, supporting other trades, participating in emergency call-out rotas, and assisting with operational cover when required.
What we are looking for

Experience in building maintenance, handyperson, janitorial, or facilities management roles, with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving maintenance issues.

Strong understanding of Health & Safety legislation, statutory compliance, risk assessments, method statements (RAMS), and maintaining safe working environments.

Excellent customer service, communication, and teamwork skills, with experience working in customer-focused environments and keeping occupants informed of work progress.

Ability to plan, document, and manage maintenance activities, including preparing schedules of work, maintaining accurate records, and using computer-based maintenance systems.

Reliable, flexible, and professional individual with a full UK driving licence, commitment to high-quality workmanship, willingness to undertake further training, and a strong focus on achieving business and customer objectives.
