Job Overview
Vyta Restaurant is seeking a friendly and professional Restaurant Receptionist to join our team. The successful candidate will be the first point of contact for guests, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a smooth and welcoming experience. Duties
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with reservations and seating arrangements.
- Manage phone calls efficiently, taking reservations, answering enquiries, and directing calls appropriately.
- Handle guest sitting
- Coordinate with kitchen staff and servers to ensure timely service delivery.
- Maintain cleanliness of the reception area, ensuring it is welcoming and organised at all times.
- Address guest concerns promptly to ensure a positive dining experience.
- Support team members during busy periods to maintain high standards of service.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality environment is preferred but not essential.
- Strong communication skills with excellent phone etiquette.
- Knowledge of guest services principles and hospitality standards.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle multiple tasks efficiently.
- Friendly demeanour with a professional appearance.
- Organised with good attention to detail.
