Part-Time Kitchen Porter & Front of House Support
Location: Pellizco, Sheffield
Pellizco is looking for a part-time Kitchen Porter who is also happy to lend a hand with basic food prep and front of house duties such as clearing and resetting tables. This is a great opportunity for someone interested in starting a career in hospitality, or simply looking for a part-time job to fit around education or other commitments.
We are a 34-seat restaurant with a large courtyard space. While we’re often busy, our small team size and supportive environment help keep things enjoyable and manageable.
The start date for this position is mid June.
Main Responsibilities:
- Keeping the pot wash area clean and organised
- Maintaining general cleanliness around the restaurant
- Assisting with basic kitchen prep jobs (e.g., preparing vegetables, portioning, basic cooking jobs)
- Helping the front of house team with clearing tables, resetting, and occasionally delivering food or drinks to tables (full training provided)
- Supporting smooth service and maintaining high hygiene standards
What We’re Looking For:
- Someone reliable, friendly, and willing to help wherever needed
- Comfortable in both kitchen and customer-facing environments
- Presentable and able to speak to customers when needed (with training)
- Available on Tuesdays, Fridays, and Saturdays, with potential for extra shifts in summer
- Able to commute reliably to our Sheffield location
Pay & Benefits:
- £12.71 per hour (National Living Wage for ages 21+)
- Great tips, even for 2/3 shifts per week

Hours:
- Expected: 15–25 hours per week - due to the nature of the restaurant, you can expect more hours to be available during the summer.
- Primarily evenings and weekends
