Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Bookkeeper to join our dynamic team. Duties
- Manage and record all financial transactions using accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, or Xero.
- Reconcile bank statements and ensure all accounts are accurate and up-to-date.
- Handle accounts payable processes, including invoice processing, payment scheduling, and vendor communication.
- Assist with accounts receivable tasks, including invoicing and tracking incoming payments.
- Maintain organized financial records and prepare reports for review by senior management.
- Support month-end closing activities by verifying data accuracy and preparing necessary documentation.
- Collaborate with external accountants or auditors during financial audits or reviews.
Qualifications
- Proven experience with accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, or Xero is essential.
- Strong understanding of bookkeeping principles, accounts payable, and general ledger management.
- Excellent attention to detail with the ability to identify discrepancies quickly.
- Effective organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a part-time capacity.
- Knowledge of basic accounting practices and financial reporting standards.
- Prior experience working with diverse accounting platforms is preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong communication skills to liaise effectively with vendors, team members, and external auditors.
