Experienced Cleaners – Student Accommodation & End-of-Tenancy
Location: Newcastle
Pay: £12.71 per hour
Hours: Up to 25 hours per week
Contract: Temporary for the next few weeks, with the possibility of longer-term work
Start date: Immediate
Groves Clean & Tidy Ltd is looking for reliable, experienced cleaners to join our team in Newcastle. You will primarily be completing end-of-term student accommodation cleans and end-of-tenancy cleans.
This is a temporary role for the next few weeks, offering up to 25 hours per week. There may be an opportunity for a longer-term contract for candidates who perform well and are a good fit for our team.
Your duties will include:
- Deep cleaning student bedrooms and communal areas
- Cleaning kitchens, bathrooms and living spaces
- End-of-tenancy cleaning
- Vacuuming, mopping and wiping all surfaces
- Removing built-up dirt, grease and limescale
- Following cleaning checklists and company procedures
- Working independently and as part of a team
- Ensuring each property meets our required standard
What we’re looking for:
- Previous professional cleaning experience is essential
- Experience in student accommodation, end-of-tenancy or deep cleaning is preferred
- Excellent attention to detail
- Reliable, punctual and able to work at a good pace
- Able to complete physically demanding cleaning tasks
- Flexible availability over the next few weeks
- Able to travel to cleaning locations in Newcastle
- The right to work in the UK
All cleaning equipment, products and training will be provided. Successful applicants may be invited to attend a short paid trial shift.
