Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented Decorator to join our joinery team.
The role will largely be workshop based but some travel to local sites to assist with installations and renovation works may be required.
As a Decorator, you will be responsible for prep work and finishing of our bespoke cabinetry, windows and doors. You will also be required to assist with refurbishment works and occasional onsite woodwork redecoration.
Duties
- Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, and priming to ensure optimal paint adhesion and finish quality
- Apply paints, stains, and decorative finishes with precision and attention to detail
- Communicate effectively with team members, clients, and suppliers to coordinate project timelines and requirements
- Maintain a clean work environment by organizing tools and disposing of waste responsibly
Qualifications
- Proven experience in construction painting, decorating, or related trades preferred
- Valid driving license with a clean driving record for transportation of materials and equipment
- Strong communication skills to interact confidently with team members and clients
- Knowledge of safety protocols related to painting, decorating, and construction sites
- Basic understanding of color theory, surface preparation, and finishing techniques
- Experience with/ willingness to learn use and maintenance of paint sprayer equipment.

Pay: £120.00-£160.00 per day
