Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated Hard Surface Repair Technician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for repairing and restoring various hard surfaces, including flooring, countertops, and other structural elements. Your expertise will help maintain the integrity and appearance of surfaces, contributing to the overall quality of our service offerings.
Responsibilities
- Perform repairs on a variety of hard surfaces such as concrete, tile, wood, and laminate using appropriate tools and techniques
- Assess surface damage and determine the most effective repair methods to restore functionality and aesthetics
- Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, or priming before applying repair materials or sealants
- Communicate clearly with clients and team members regarding repair procedures and progress
- Operate company vehicles safely to transport tools, materials, and personnel to job sites
- Maintain detailed records of work performed, materials used, and time spent on each project
- Ensure all work complies with safety standards and company quality protocols
Qualifications
- Valid driving license with a clean driving record
- Experience in construction painting or surface finishing is a plus
- Strong communication skills in English for effective client interaction and team collaboration
- Ability to interpret technical instructions and safety guidelines accurately
- Excellent manual dexterity and attention to detail
- Willingness to learn new repair techniques and adapt to different surface types
- Physical stamina to perform manual labor in various environmental conditions
