Apollo Trade Window Store Oxford is currently searching for a Warehouse Person/ Van Driver to join our team. This is a full-time position, working five days a week, Monday to Friday, between 8.00 am and 4.00 pm. No weekend work is expected.
We need a hardworking individual with a full clean UK driving license who does not mind working in hot or cold conditions and can work an entire shift on his feet. We prize speed, accuracy and tidiness above all else, so we require a responsible and accurate Warehouse Person who can pay careful attention to the job, follow instructions precisely and double-check his work before completing a task, and keep the warehouse clean, tidy and in order. Main responsibilities:
-Receive deliveries and verify their contents;
-Count and stock products based on inventory control log;
-Identify damaged, lost or missing products and notify the manager immediately;
-Store products in the correct places following the warehouse structure;
-Prepare orders for deliveries following the order list, ensuring the right items are correctly placed and securely fixed to the van;
-Make deliveries to the customers across Oxfordshire;
-Prepare orders for the customers in the shop in a timely manner.
-Basic level of numeracy and literacy required;
-Previous warehouse experience is preferred but more important to have a desire to keep the depot clean, tidy and in order;
-Good level of fitness and ability to work on feet and carry objects required;
-Full UK driving licence is required.
-Carry out a weekly deep clean of the kitchen, trade counter, warehouse, toilets and all staff welfare facilities.
