Waiter / Waitress / Bartender – The Woodman at Clent

We’re looking for friendly, professional Waiters, Waitresses and Bartenders to join the team at The Woodman at Clent. As part of our front-of-house team, you’ll be delivering exceptional service across both the restaurant and bar, while sharing your knowledge of our steaks, wines, cocktails and drinks with every guest.
About the Role
This is a versatile front-of-house role, ideal for someone who is confident both serving guests and working behind the bar. You’ll play a key part in creating a warm and memorable experience, whether you’re looking after tables, preparing cocktails, serving drinks or supporting the wider team during busy service.
You’ll have a strong interest in food and drinks and be confident discussing our menu, steak cuts, cooking styles, wines and cocktails. Previous bartending experience is preferred, but we’re equally interested in people with a strong hospitality background who are keen to develop their bar skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver an exceptional guest experience with a warm, knowledgeable and professional approach
- Provide attentive and efficient table service throughout the guest experience
- Prepare and serve cocktails, wines, beers, spirits and other drinks to a consistently high standard
- Build strong product knowledge across our food and drinks menus, particularly steaks, wines and cocktails
- Confidently advise guests on menu choices, steak cooking temperatures, wine pairings and cocktails
- Maintain a clean, organised and well-stocked bar
- Ensure excellent standards of cocktail and drink presentation
- Work closely with the kitchen and bar teams to ensure smooth and efficient service
- Support both restaurant and bar operations as required
- Handle guest feedback positively and professionally
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness, organisation and attention to detail
- Uphold all health, safety and food hygiene standards
- Support team training and continuous improvement in service standards
About You
- Previous experience in a quality restaurant, cocktail bar or hospitality environment preferred
- Previous bartending or cocktail-making experience is an advantage
- Strong interest or experience in steaks, wines and cocktails
- Confident and professional when speaking with guests
- High attention to detail and pride in delivering a consistent, polished service
- Able to remain calm and organised during busy services
- A positive, can-do attitude and a genuine team player
- Flexible and willing to work across both restaurant and bar
- Willingness to learn and continuously improve product knowledge and bar skills

Pay: £10.00-£13.00 per hour
