Finance Manager
Location: Nottingham, UK
Salary: £40,000–£55,000 per annum, depending on experience
Job Type: Full-time
Qualification: Part-qualified ACCA or CIMA
Experience: Minimum 5 years of relevant UK finance experience
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Finance Manager to oversee day-to-day finance operations, management reporting, compliance and financial controls. You will work closely with the Directors/CFO and manage the finance team.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and support the finance team.
- Prepare and review monthly management accounts and month-end reports.
- Manage cash flow, banking and payments.
- Oversee VAT and CIS compliance.
- Coordinate annual accounts with external accountants.
- Lead budgeting and forecasting.
- Review financial performance and provide reports to Directors/CFO.
- Support construction and project finance.
- Maintain effective financial controls and processes.
- Provide finance business partnering and commercial support.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years' relevant UK finance experience.
- Part-qualified ACCA or CIMA – essential.
- Strong experience in management accounts, cash flow and month-end reporting.
- Good knowledge of UK VAT and CIS.
- Experience managing a finance team.
- Construction/project finance experience is desirable.
- Strong analytical, communication and organisational skills.
