Front of House Team Member — Permanent Full-Time
Formosa Izakaya is looking for a reliable, friendly and hardworking Front of House Team Member to join our Taiwanese/Japanese restaurant in Birmingham city centre.

- This is an in-person position based at our restaurant in Birmingham; remote working is not available.

Main responsibilities
- Welcoming customers in a friendly and professional manner.
- Taking food and drink orders accurately.
- Serving food and beverages.
- Clearing and preparing tables.
- Responding politely to customer enquiries.
- Supporting colleagues during busy periods.
- Helping to maintain a clean, organised and welcoming restaurant.
- Carrying out other reasonable Front of House duties when required.
What we are looking for
- Good customer-service and communication skills.
- Reliability and punctuality.
- The ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Confidence working in a busy restaurant environment.
- Flexibility to work evenings and weekends where required.
- Previous restaurant or hospitality experience is helpful but not essential.
- Additional language skills may be an advantage but are not necessarily required.
