This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who has experience in retail, decorating supplies, builders' merchants or trade sales and is ready to take ownership of a busy branch.
About the Role
As Branch Manager, you'll be responsible for the day-to-day running of the branch, ensuring outstanding customer service while driving sales and building strong relationships with both trade and retail customers.
Your Responsibilities
- Managing the daily operation of the branch.
- Leading, motivating and developing the store team.
- Delivering excellent customer service every day.
- Growing sales through exceptional customer relationships.
- Maintaining high standards of merchandising and presentation.
- Managing stock levels, ordering and inventory control.
- Ensuring health and safety procedures are followed.
- Working towards sales and profitability targets.
Ideally, you’re someone who…
Can learn on the job and build strong relationships with customers and suppliers. Someone who is upbeat and outgoing, and wants to help put their ideas forward to improve and grow a fantastic business with tremendous potential and grow your own skills alongside.
- Previous management or supervisory experience.
- Experience within the paint, decorating, builders' merchant or related retail sector is preferred.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Commercial awareness and a passion for delivering results.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to work independently.
- A positive attitude with a hands-on approach
- Must be able to work reasonably flexibly between the hours of 07:00-17:30 Monday- Friday and alternate Saturday Mornings 08:30-12:30.
