Beeston Manor is an award-winning events venue and a family run business set in 140 acres of grounds and aims to provide high quality functions, fine food and wines to weddings and all occasions including weddings, events, parties, funerals, christenings and restaurant evenings.
Job Description
We are looking for a hardworking and reliable Kitchen Porter to support our kitchen team during weddings, events and restaurant services.
This is an important role within the kitchen, ensuring everything runs smoothly behind the scenes and maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organisation.
Job Requirements
- Washing dishes, glassware, cutlery, pots and pans
- Operating and maintaining the dishwasher
- Keeping the kitchen clean and tidy at all times
- Sweeping and mopping floors
- Emptying bins and disposing of waste correctly
- Assisting chefs with basic food preparation when required
- Unpacking and organising deliveries
- Ensuring cleaning schedules are followed
- Supporting the kitchen team during busy wedding service
Experience in hospitality is preferred but not essential as full training will be provided.
Must be able to work Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays and Bank Holidays. This will include a mixture of mornings, afternoons and evenings depending on bookings.
You must have transport to and from work as public transport links are limited.
You must be able to work efficiently, stay organised and remain calm during busy periods.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team is essential.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
