Overview
The Client Account Manager is responsible for managing a portfolio of client accounts across Indevor’s surety bond business, ensuring outstanding client service, efficient case management and strong relationships with clients and underwriters.
The successful candidate will take ownership of enquiries from quotation through to issuance, maintain high standards of accuracy and compliance, and contribute to the continued growth and reputation of Indevor. They will be expected to understand their clients' businesses, respond proactively to their requirements and work closely with underwriters to achieve the best possible outcomes.
The role combines relationship management, customer service and commercial awareness with strong administration and attention to detail. The Client Account Manager will be expected to manage their own workload effectively.
Role Specific Tasks
A. Manage a portfolio of client accounts and act as the primary point of contact for assigned clients.
B. Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients, understanding their business requirements and providing tailored support.
C. Liaise with underwriters to obtain quotations, negotiate terms where appropriate and progress applications through to completion.
D. Manage new business accounts and ensure a smooth onboarding experience for new clients.
E. Identify opportunities to generate additional business through cross-selling, referrals and client retention initiatives.
F. Monitor outstanding quotations, acceptances and bond issuances to ensure timely progression of all cases.
G. Maintain accurate and up-to-date Salesforce records, dashboards and management
information.
H. Ensure all activity complies with FCA requirements, company policies and internal compliance standards.
I. Monitor performance against KPIs and SLAs, taking ownership of service delivery and continuous improvement.
J. Resolve client queries and issues promptly, supporting service recovery where required.
K. Work collaboratively with Operations, Sales, Marketing, Referrer Relations and Finance to deliver a seamless client experience.
L. Contribute to the improvement of operational processes, systems and procedures.
M. Prepare weekly and monthly performance updates where required.
N. Represent Indevor professionally in meetings, client calls and industry events where appropriate.

Ideal Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate will have experience in account management, client services, insurance, financial services, construction, or a related professional environment. They will be highly organised, commercially aware and capable of managing multiple client relationships simultaneously while maintaining excellent attention to detail.

- Experience using CRM systems, ideally Salesforce.

- Experience using CRM systems, particularly Salesforce, would be advantageous.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Outlook, Word, Excel and Teams.
- Takes pride in maintaining high standards of client service, professionalism and personal performance.
In addition to the above, we feel it would be useful for a candidate to have a Certificate and/or Diploma with the Chartered Insurance Institute (Cert CII / Dip CII), although this is not an essential requirement.

Pay: £25,420.00-£35,000.00 per year
