Role Overview
As an Accounts & Audit Trainee, you will receive comprehensive training and practical experience while supporting our audit and accounts teams across a diverse portfolio of clients. You will be involved in all aspects of audit and accounts preparation while working alongside experienced professionals who are dedicated to your development
Key Responsibilities
Supporting preparation of financial statements in compliance with UK accounting standards and company law.
Undertaking testing procedures and documenting results to support audit opinions.
Carrying out bookkeeping, VAT return preparation and financial analysis under guidance.
Working with our experienced team on client queries and helping to offer tailored solutions.
Building your knowledge of relevant accounting systems and software used within the firm.
Embracing opportunities to work as part of project teams on ad hoc assignments.
Ensuring accuracy and attention to detail in all work, adhering to company processes and quality standards
Assisting with the planning and delivery of external audits for a range of clients under the supervision of senior colleagues.
Qualifications & Experience
2- 3 years relevant professional work experience
Experience of Accounts is essential
Experience of audit but not essential
AAT qualified
