Responsibilities
Prepare and serve a variety of drinks, teas, and specialty beverages with precision and flair.
Maintain high standards of food safety and cleanliness throughout the workspace to ensure a safe environment for customers and staff.
Engage with customers warmly, taking their orders accurately and providing excellent service to enhance their experience.
Assist in food preparation tasks such as assembling snacks or light menu items when needed.
Manage cash register transactions efficiently using basic math skills to handle payments and give correct change.
Keep the work area organized, stocked, and sanitized to meet health regulations and operational standards.
Effectively manage time during busy periods to serve customers promptly while maintaining quality standards.
Skills
Proven experience as a barista or in a similar serving role, demonstrating familiarity with beverage preparation and customer service.
Strong knowledge of food safety protocols to uphold hygiene standards at all times.
Ability to perform food preparation tasks accurately and efficiently.
Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during high-volume periods.
Basic math skills for handling transactions accurately and managing cash flow.
Effective communication skills for engaging with customers and team members positively.
A proactive attitude with a focus on teamwork, reliability, and attention to detail.
