Technical & Application Analyst
Salary £50,000 per annum
Full-time, Permanent, Hybrid (2 days in the office per week)
Tructyre is on a mission to "De-risk Britain’s Fleet." We are currently seeking a highly skilled and analytical Technical and Application Analyst to join our team.
In this pivotal role, you will support, manage, and maintain the core systems that underpin our nationwide production services. You are a technical expert who can bridge the gap between business problems and technological designs, ensuring our infrastructure is resilient, scalable, and aligned with both UK and European Group objectives.
Key Responsibilities as a Technical & Application Analyst:
- Provide thorough technical systems support to both internal and external customers.
- Identify operational problems, documenting methods of troubleshooting and correction for future use in the form of work instructions.
- Troubleshoot, resolve, implement or escalate Incidents, service requests or alerts as required.
- Follow IT Service Management Processes as dictated by SOPs and ensure all IT systems function within the parameters of the SLAs.
- Problem solving and new solution design, implementation and support.
- Maintenance and support, project work and delivery of multiple platforms and systems.
- Act as primary project resource within areas of SME knowledge.
- Creation and maintaining the IT processes.
- Help and support the Application Super Users Group.
- Build and maintain effective working relationships with colleagues in the UK and Europe.
- Support internal and cloud-based services and servers.
- Configure and support Remote Desktop Services.
- Support Windows architecture and Microsoft Azure environments.
- Contribute to continual service improvement across IT systems and infrastructure.
- Support Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity Planning.
- Participate within project teams and support the delivery of new systems and platforms.
Requirements for a Technical & Applications Analyst:
- Experience working within ITIL Framework of Service Management.
- Strong experience in Windows architecture and environment.
- Experience configuring and supporting Remote Desktop Services.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Azure including solutions such as Entra IAM, Networking, Automation and Storage.
- Familiar with networking topologies, networking hardware and exposure to network standards and network protocols.
- Disaster Recovery and BCP Planning.
- Automated scripting skills (PowerShell, VBScript) as well as general scripting.
- Experience with Microsoft Intune and Mobile Technologies.
- Experience working with Azure Data Factory.
- Experience with Meraki networking, including design, implementation and support.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex technical challenges.
- Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and stakeholders across the UK and wider European Group.
- Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritise workload and manage multiple activities and deadlines.
- Adaptable and resilient, with the ability to respond positively to changing business and technical requirements.
