Salary: £40,000–£45,000
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Registered Care Manager to join a small, independent care service in York.
The service provides a warm, person-centred environment supporting individuals primarily living with dementia and those requiring end-of-life care. This is a well-established service with a strong focus on quality, dignity and delivering excellent outcomes for the people it supports.
The Role
As Registered Care Manager, you will take responsibility for the day-to-day management of the service, ensuring high standards of care, compliance and resident experience.
You will lead and support a dedicated team, oversee care delivery, maintain strong relationships with residents and families, and ensure the service continues to meet regulatory and organisational standards.
About You
We are looking for an experienced care professional who has:
- Previous management experience within supported living, extra care or a similar care environment
- Strong knowledge of dementia and end-of-life care
- Experience leading and developing care teams
- A good understanding of safeguarding, quality and regulatory requirements
- Experience using digital care planning and care management systems
- A genuine commitment to delivering person-centred, high-quality care
- Strong communication, leadership and organisational skills
