Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and professional Dental Hygienist/Therapist to join our dental practice to work on Fridays and potentially some Thursdays. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality preventative and therapeutic dental care, ensuring patient comfort, and supporting overall oral health. Duties
- Conduct thorough dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing, to prevent oral diseases
- Assist in patient education regarding oral hygiene practices and preventive care strategies
- Support diagnosis by providing relevant information on anatomy and pathology as observed during examinations
- Assist the dentist during various procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety
- Maintain sterilisation protocols and ensure all dental instruments are properly disinfected
- Keep detailed records of treatments provided, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards
- Educate patients on post-treatment care and follow-up procedures
