Job Summary
Grounds Cafés are seeking a Cafe Manager for our Hicks Lodge Cafe, located in Willesley Woodside, Ashby de la Zouch. LE65 2UP.
You will be leading and supporting a small team of around 12 staff.
We are looking for a hands on, passionate Cafe Manager to oversee the daily operations and maintain our Company standards. You will need to balance running shifts and the back office admin, including ordering, rotas to ensure the smooth running and profitability of the Cafe
Duties
- Manage and develp the Café staff along with the Management team , providing guidance and support to ensure efficient operations.
- Oversee food production processes, ensuring quality and adherence to food safety regulations.
- Assist in the preparation of food items.
- Train new employees on Café procedures and customer service expectations.
- Manage ordering supplies to ensure smooth operations.
- Implement health and safety protocols to guarantee a safe working environment for all staff.
- Foster a positive team environment that encourages collaboration and personal development.
- Handle customer inquiries and complaints professionally, ensuring satisfaction.
Experience
- Proven experience in team management within a Cafe or catering setting is essential.
- Strong knowledge of food safety practices and regulations..
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
