Mr Plant Hire is looking for 3.5t Drivers to join their team at their Stacey Avenue site.
The starting salary is £32,000 per annum.
The hours are 45 hours per week Monday to Friday worked between 6am and 5pm as required with a 30 minute unpaid lunch break.

There will be an amount of compulsory overtime required to meet customer demands which will include late finishes and early starts, this will be paid at an enhanced hourly rate.
There is also the opportunity to work on out of hours deliveries which attract a premium payment.
Duties include:
- Deliver and collect hired equipment from construction sites and customer premises (small tools, lifting equipment and low-level access equipment)
- Carry out Daily Vehicle Checks
- Load and unload equipment (with assistance) using safe handling techniques and equipment
- Plan and follow efficient routes taking into account traffic, site restrictions and agreed delivery times
- Use a PDA to record deliveries and collections inspecting returned equipment for obvious damage, dirt or missing parts and report concerns
- Maintain vehicle cleanliness
Previous Plant Hire experience would be preferred but not essential as full training will be given to the successful candidate.

To succeed in the role you will bring the following skill-set and behaviours:
- Full UK Category B driving licence permitting the driving of vehicles up to 3.5 tonnes
- Previous commercial van-driving or multi drop delivery experience
- Able to work as part of a team, supporting colleagues
- Good knowledge of London and the Home Counties or confidence using route-planning and satellite navigation systems
- Reliable and punctual
- Good verbal communication and customer service skills
- Ability to complete delivery paperwork accurately and use mobile phone and electronic proof of delivery system
- Flexible approach to working hours including early starts and overtime where required
