Responsibilities

- Handle food preparation tasks such as assembling sandwiches, salads, or baked goods in accordance with food safety standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café area, including counters, tables, equipment, and storage spaces.
- Manage cash register operations accurately, including handling cash and card transactions with basic math skills.
- Follow all food safety regulations and hygiene practices to ensure a safe environment for staff and customers.
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure prompt service without compromising quality or safety.
Skills
- Proven experience as a barista or in a customer-facing food service role is preferred.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and best practices for hygiene and cleanliness.
- Ability to perform basic math calculations quickly and accurately for transactions.
- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during peak hours.
- Excellent serving skills with a friendly attitude that creates a welcoming atmosphere for all guests.
- Capable of multitasking in a lively environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Basic knowledge of food preparation techniques is advantageous but not required; training will be provided.
