Are you an experienced physiotherapist looking to broaden your clinical expertise and make a meaningful difference to patients throughout their recovery?
This rotational role will allow you to build your experience across Intensive Care, Surgery, Orthopaedics and Aquatic Therapy, supported by skilled multidisciplinary teams.
You will manage a varied inpatient and outpatient caseload, supporting patients from assessment and treatment through to discharge and recovery. As your competencies develop, you will also take part in preoperative assessments, weekend working, on call and emergency physiotherapy services.
A little about the role
We are a collaborative Therapies team committed to delivering personalised, evidence-based rehabilitation. As part of our rotational programme, you will work as an autonomous practitioner, assessing, diagnosing and treating patients with a wide range of clinical needs. You will develop individual treatment plans, support safe discharge and work closely with consultants, nursing teams and other healthcare professionals. You will be supported to build your confidence and clinical skills through structured learning, professional development and exposure to specialist services.
What you’ll be doing

Assess, diagnose and treat patients with diverse and complex clinical presentations
- Develop and deliver personalised physiotherapy treatment and rehabilitation programmes
- Set meaningful rehabilitation goals with patients and support safe discharge planning
- Manage your caseload effectively while maintaining accurate clinical records and managing risk
- Work closely with multidisciplinary colleagues to coordinate high quality patient care
- Contribute to clinical reviews, case conferences and quality improvement initiatives
- Support student supervision, teaching and shared learning as required
- Take part in audit, service improvement and ongoing professional development
- Participate in weekend, on call and emergency services as your competencies develop
