Responsibilities
- Deliver direct patient care, including health assessments, screening, ECG's, wound care, immunisation and vaccination and routine examinations
- Assist physicians during consultations, procedures, and minor treatments
- Administer medications accurately following prescribed protocols and safety standards
- Educate patients on health conditions, medication usage, and preventive care strategies
- Maintain detailed and accurate patient records in compliance with healthcare regulations
- Support vaccination programs and health screening initiatives within the practice
- Identify and respond to safeguarding, mental health, and community care needs
- Maintain and support infection control procedures, delivering a safe clinical environment
Person specification
- Proven experience as a Registered Nurse with a focus on general practice or primary care settings advantageous
- Skilled in medication administration with attention to detail and safety protocols
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with diverse patient populations
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a collaborative healthcare team
- Registered nurse (RN)
