We’re looking for an organised, proactive Administrator to join our team in Merton.
This is a varied role where you'll provide essential administrative support across payroll, HR and the wider site, helping to ensure our people receive an accurate, efficient and professional service.
You'll be working with colleagues across the business, managing important employee information, supporting weekly payroll and responding to day-to-day queries. No two days will be exactly the same. Your responsibilities will include:

Supporting weekly payroll – Help ensure our weekly paid employees are paid correctly and on time, maintaining accurate payroll information and resolving queries where appropriate.

Providing HR administration – Process employee information including new starters, leavers, maternity leave, sickness and other employment changes.

Supporting our employees – Be a friendly and professional first point of contact for payroll and general administrative queries, whether face-to-face, by email or over the phone.

Maintaining accurate records – Keep employee and personnel records accurate, confidential and up to date, ensuring documentation is correctly maintained and filed.

Right to Work administration – Help ensure employee identification and Right to Work documentation is complete, accurate and compliant with requirements.

Preparing correspondence – Produce accurate employee letters and documentation, including employment letters, temporary contract correspondence and other HR-related communications.

Supporting absence processes – Assist with administration relating to absence and AWOL procedures, including preparing relevant correspondence.

Producing reports – Provide reports and information from our payroll systems when required, including information relating to payroll and long-service awards.

Building relationships – Develop strong working relationships with colleagues and departments across the site, providing responsive first-line support.

Keeping the office running smoothly – Coordinate meeting room bookings, arrange refreshments when required, organise couriers and manage outgoing post.

Getting involved – Support the Office Manager, HR and Payroll teams with ad-hoc activities and projects when needed.

Previous experience within an administration or office-based role

Good IT skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
