We are seeking an energetic individual with excellent customer service skills and experience in sales to join our Health Club team on a part time contract. This would involve mainly weekend shifts with early mornings and late shifts included due to the nature of the business.
As a Health Club Receptionist you will be the first and last contact visitors to the club have. Being in a customer-facing role means you are a confident and well-presented individual with a warm way with people and have a strong sales background. We believe it is the people we employ that makes the difference to the experience of our clients, and that is why we are looking for someone who is ready to go above and beyond in everything they do.
As Health Club Receptionist you will have...
- Excellent customer care skills, ideally with some previous experience in a similar role in hospitality or health clubs.
- Excellent command of the English language both written and oral.
- Self -motivation and be able to work on your own initiative.
- A positive attitude and excellent communications skills.
- The ability to cope well under pressure.
- Good IT skills.
- Experience in sales previously.
What will I be doing as Health Club Receptionist?
- Welcoming all our members using the club, managing the booking system and taking payments.
- Engaging with members to identify opportunities to promote additional products or services, including the up-selling of club memberships, studio bookings and personal training.
- Answering telephones and conducting walk-in enquiries and show rounds, making reference to the unique selling points.
- Contacting new potential members, arranging tours and signing them up.
- Helping with any marketing and promotion activities, including membership calls and any other reasonable requests.
- Upholding the Health Clubs cleanliness by keeping areas especially the reception area clean and tidy.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: £10.85-£12.71 per hour
