Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and innovative Packaging Designer to join our team
In this role, you will be responsible for developing packaging solutions that protect high value customers items & components during transit & storage. Using a range of stock materials from Timber, Foam & Corrugated, and further enhanced with sustainable products and materials available in the market place.
Customers from industries such as Aerospace, Defence & Scientific
Duties
- Conceptualize and design innovative packaging concepts
- Utilize digital design tools such as SolidWorks/ SolidCAM & CAD software
- Collaborate with product development, and manufacturing teams to refine designs and ensure feasibility
- Prepare technical specifications and detailed drawings for production
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining high standards of quality and attention to detail
Requirements
- Proven experience in packaging design with a strong portfolio showcasing relevant work
- Proficiency in Design software
- Familiarity with 3D modeling software
- Strong understanding of production processes and material considerations for packaging manufacturing
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively across teams and present ideas clearly
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment while maintaining creativity and precision
Pay: £30,000.00-£40,000.00 per year
