Job Summary
We’re looking for an energetic and friendly Bar Staff member to join our team. In this role, you’ll be the face of our bar, mixing drinks, serving guests, and ensuring everyone has a fantastic time. The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic about hospitality, skilled at multitasking, and eager to contribute to a vibrant social environment.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of drinks including cocktails, beers, wines, and soft beverages with precision and flair.
- Take orders from guests accurately and efficiently while providing friendly, attentive service.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including glassware, utensils, and work surfaces.
- Ensure compliance with food safety standards and responsible alcohol service regulations at all times.
- Manage cash transactions accurately and handle payments securely.
- Support the team during busy periods by staying calm under pressure and assisting with other bar or restaurant duties as needed.
- Engage with guests to create a welcoming atmosphere and promote ongoing customer satisfaction.
Requirements
- Previous experience in hospitality or bar service is preferred but not essential; enthusiasm counts most!
- Knowledge of bartending techniques and drink recipes is a plus.
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members.
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions confidently.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Familiarity with food safety standards and responsible alcohol service practices.
- Good time management skills to juggle multiple orders smoothly during busy hours.
