External Pest Control & Grounds Maintenance Technician
We're looking for an experienced and motivated technician to join our team, combining external pest control with grounds maintenance. Working across commercial and residential sites, you'll help maintain high quality outdoor environments while delivering professional rodent control services.
What You'll Do
External Pest Control
- Carry out inspections for signs of rodent activity.
- Install, inspect and maintain external bait stations and monitoring equipment.
- Deliver effective treatments for rats and mice in accordance with current legislation and best practice.
- Provide recommendations to reduce the risk of future infestations, including proofing advice.
- Complete accurate treatment records and site reports.
- Ensure all work is carried out safely and professionally.
Grounds Maintenance
- Mow lawns, edge borders, and maintain tidy sites.
- Weed, prune, hedge cut, and maintain shrubs and flower beds.
- Carry out seasonal grounds maintenance tasks.
- Operate horticultural machinery safely and effectively.
- Maintain high standards across commercial and residential properties.
What We're Looking For
- PA-R&M qualification or equivalent (essential).
- PA-AP qualification (advantageous but not essential).
- Previous experience in external pest control.
- Experience in grounds maintenance, landscaping or gardening.
- Good knowledge of rodent behaviour and integrated pest management principles.
- Excellent attention to detail and a strong work ethic.
- Friendly, professional, and customer-focused.
- Full UK driving licence (essential).
- Willing to work rostered seasonal Saturdays.

- NPTC PA-R&M, RSPH Level 2 in Pest Management or Equivalent (required)
