As a Production Operative in our Butter Dairy, you will part of the team which creates our award winning butter.
We are looking for a reliable and hard working individual, who is diligent, works well with others and is committed to maintaining our high standards, to come and join our team.
The preferred candidate will ideally have previous manufacturing and/or production experience and be flexible with their work availability.
You will be working as part of a well-established and experienced team, who will provide training and support to grow in to the role.
Good time management is also a key requirement of this role, to ensure the smooth running of the department.
You will be required to work Monday to Friday, covering early shift (6:00am - 2:00pm), late shift (2:00pm - 10:00pm) and night shift (10:00pm - 6:00am) on a 3 week rotation basis.
Overtime is available on a voluntary basis.
The role pays £15.30/hour as well as a weekly shift bonus for each complete shift worked, making an annual salary of at least £34,000.
Duties Include:
- Safe, efficient operation of the Butter Making , Butter filling , Butter Boxing and palletising machines.
- Make appropriate process and quality adjustments to ensure product compliance with internal and external standards.
- Effectively communicate with all appropriate personnel within your sphere of responsibility.
- Keep complete and accurate records of the production process for traceability purposes.
- Perform cleaning tasks in a timely manner to ensure Food Safety standards are being met.
- Perform quality inspections on ingredients, packaging and finished product.
- Troubleshoot and/or report any issues encountered in the department.
- Ensure production plans and targets are achieved routinely
