Expected earnings from £45,000 per year, depending on experience and productivity, with higher earnings achievable through our bonus scheme.
Monday to Friday only, with a choice of 6:00am–3:00pm, 7:00am–4:00pm, or 8:00am–5:00pm shifts. Optional weekend overtime may be available.
Your Role
You’ll carry out high-quality repairs to cars and light commercial vehicles, ensuring every repair is completed safely, efficiently and in accordance with manufacturer-approved repair methods.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Carrying out the full range of panel repairs using manufacturer-approved repair methods.
- Stripping and refitting your own repairs, including relevant mechanical, electrical and trim components.
- Completing jig work and structural repairs.
- Carrying out Miracle Pull repairs, dent removal and plastic repairs.
- Using repair-over-replace techniques wherever safe, appropriate and supported by the relevant repair method.
- Identifying and reporting any additional damage, parts requirements or potential delays promptly.
- Checking the quality of your own work before the vehicle progresses to the next stage.
- Working efficiently to agreed repair times while maintaining excellent quality standards.
- Supporting the wider workshop team to ensure vehicles are completed on time.
What We’re Looking For
We’re looking for an experienced Panel Beater / Panel Technician who takes pride in producing first-class repairs and is confident completing both the panel and MET work on their own jobs.
Essential experience and skills:
- A minimum of 5 years’ hands-on panel beating experience within an accident repair centre or professional bodyshop environment.
- Proven experience carrying out the full range of panel repairs.
- Confident in stripping and refitting your own jobs, including relevant MET work.
- Experience with jig work, structural repairs, Miracle Pull systems, dent removal and plastic repairs.
- A strong repair-over-replace approach, where appropriate and in line with manufacturer repair methods.
- Ability to work independently while maintaining high productivity and quality.
- Ability to follow estimates, job cards and manufacturer repair instructions accurately.
- Your own panel beating tools.
- A positive attitude, reliability and a strong team ethic.
