Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Front of House Team Member to join our vibrant team. This role is for a minimum of 30 hours a week. In this role, you will be the face of our establishment, providing exceptional hospitality and guest services to our local community. Your responsibilities will include assisting with food preparation, managing guest interactions, and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere.
Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome guests with a warm and friendly attitude.
- Take customer orders accurately and efficiently.
- Upsell menu items to enhance the experience and increase sales.
- Assist in food preparation while adhering to food safety standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the front of house area.
- Handle cash transactions and perform basic maths for billing purposes.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service.
- Manage time effectively to meet the needs of guests during busy periods.
- Provide assistance to guests as needed, ensuring their satisfaction throughout their visit.
Experience
- Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality environment is preferred but not essential.
- Familiarity with food safety practices is advantageous.
- Basic culinary skills are beneficial for assisting in food preparation tasks.
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
- Excellent communication skills, with a focus on providing outstanding guest services.
Minimum wage is the starting point of pay. Shifts will change weekly, weekends are required.
