Domestic Cleaner with Opportunity to Progress to Supervisor
Squeaky Clean Cleaners – York
Start: Week Commencing 7th September
We are a small, family run cleaning company based at Clifton Moor, York, and we are looking for a reliable and hardworking cleaner to join our growing team.
For this particular position, we are ideally looking for someone who has the potential and ambition to progress into a Supervisor role in the future.
You do not necessarily need previous supervisory experience. We are looking for someone who is confident, organised, dependable and has naturally high standards. Someone who, with the right training and experience, could progress into a position supporting and supervising other members of our team.
Hours
- 9.30am to 2.30pm
- 2 to 4 shifts per week
- Mainly Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability is preferred due to holiday let changeovers
- School friendly daytime hours
- Start week commencing 7th September
Driving is Essential
You must have a full driving licence and access to your own car.
Please only apply if you are comfortable driving for work, as you will be required to drive every day that you work and travel between different properties throughout York.
This is a non negotiable requirement of the position.
Mileage between properties is paid at 45p per mile.
The Role
The position is varied and will include:
- Cleaning private residential homes
- Cleaning holiday lets and completing changeovers
- Working as part of a cleaning team
- Travelling between properties throughout York
- Maintaining consistently high cleaning standards
- Following client notes and cleaning checklists
- Potentially taking on additional responsibilities as you develop within the company
Previous professional cleaning experience is beneficial but not essential as full training will be provided.
We are particularly interested in someone who is reliable, confident, hardworking and has an excellent eye for detail. You should be comfortable working within a team and have the potential to eventually take the lead and ensure our standards are maintained across different properties.
